At that time the T1 Print Competition results will be announced and the Judge will be present to deliver the comments. So make a note of our revised March meeting dates: March 2 and March 23.
Photography Joe Brady presentation on April 25
The JCC along with the Beaches Photography Club and the clubs from St. Augustine and Del-Webb are co-sponsoring a presentation by landscape photographer Joe Brady (https://www.joebradyphotography.com/) on Tuesday, April 25 at 545PM at the Ponte Vedra Branch Library on A1A. The community room there has a capacity of 120 people. More information to follow as the details are solidified.
Images for The Weekly
As was announced at the Jan 5 meeting I am looking for new images for the header of the Weekly. The image(s) should represent the purpose of Jacksonville Camera Club. As you can tell by looking at the above image, that concept was to show photographers taking photos. Depending on the response of the membership to this request, the new image(s) may be a collage, another relatively wide image or even a series of images changed during the year. I have set up a Google page for anyone to upload an image. When checking the link I found that sometimes it did Not work correctly. Got a few good ones, but still looking for more photos! Upload Here!

Don't forget the Digital Picture Contest collection dates.
2023 Digital Picture Contest #1: Online Collection Dates Feb 16 - Mar 16
all this information with links can be found on the Education page
There will be another Photoshop Virtual Summit in April--The Photoshop Creativity Virtual Summit. It will be held April 17-20 and will be focused on using Photoshop in your creative projects. The list of teachers is impressive and there will be an Early Bird special price.
I have added a new tutorial from PhotoPills people. This is a PhotoPills for Beginners video. If you have never tried this app, this YouTube video is very useful. Depending on the platform you are using (Windows, Mac, Linux) you can find this app for sale on the appropriate app store. It is currently $10.99.
Also, Blake Rudis of f64 Academy has a new tutorial about using the color curves inside the curves adjustment. It is quite comprehensive and worth looking at. I personally don't think this is for Photoshop beginning users, but if you have used curves to adjust your images, I think you can handle it. The tutorial is quite comprehensive and explains the color theory behind adjusting color quite well.
