People's Choice

Winners for the December contest were announced on the blog this past Wednesday. The theme was Bridge. Congrats to all!

The January contest is now open for entries.  The theme is Vintage Signs, and entries will be accepted until Thursday, January 7th, at midnight.

Glennie Nature Salon 2021

Jacksonville Camera Club is accepting entries from members for our submission to the Glennie Nature Salon which is hosted by the Merrimack Valley Camera Club(MVCC). This is a competition for clubs, so we will collect entries from our members, select 10 and submit those. JCC is collecting entries until 31 December 2020. New Announcements

Florida State Parks Photo Contest

Enter up to five shots taken in any of Florida's state parks now through Thursday, December 31, 2020, in one of the following categories: One with Nature, Trail Trekker, Wildside, Park Fit, and Sunscapes. Prizes awarded to the top 3 images.

FCCC Judge Training Certification Course

FCCC is offering a Judges Training Certification course.

Only those members who has shown success in competition locally, in other valid venues, or in FCCC competition (winning at least one blue ribbon among other colors) are eligible.

The cost is $19.95 for 6 hours of training, divided into two classes and will include an in-depth assignment scoring and critiquing about 30 images. Successful completion of the program may result in the candidate being invited to judge for FCCC, digital and print, for a $100 stipend each time. Taking the course also provides the candidate with expertise to judge in their own and other clubs, and advances their own skills in composing images.
