COVID-19 Statement from our Club President
The Club's Executive Board met [Wednesday, March 11th] and collectively created the following as a reaction to the current pandemic.
Regarding meetings, we will follow the lead of our host, Shepard of the Woods School/Church. If they close we will have to suspend meetings also.
In the meantime, please following these procedures at all meeting and any other JCC events where practical.
- If ill just remain home
- If exposed to a known carrier please remain home
- Sit apart at meetings
- Avoid hugs and handshakes
- Notify the Club if you have been to meeting and you later test positive
- We recognize some have allergies and/or a chronic cough. If you see someone with such a reaction please rest assured that they are not sick.
We will not suspend any outings at this time. If the outing is such that you will be close proximity that outing may be subject to modification. Most outdoor outings should allow us to be well separated.
Thank you for your consideration and understanding. We are concerned with both your safety and you're feeling secure in the Club.
For your information there were no confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Jacksonville as of [the time of this initial message].
We will notify you via email of any changes to this policy. - Young McQueen

The lens new is around $8900, the tripod and gimbal mount are worth over $1,500 new. The lens comes with two cases, one hard and one soft."
